Brush Management

Bemus Landscape has years of experience in Southern California helping communities create safe environments against the threat of fire through responsible brush management. With our extensive knowledge, guidelines from local fire authorities, and specialized equipment we have the ability to quickly get communities within compliance.

Preventative maintenance of fuel modification and defensible space zones has proven to reduce the risk of losing structures to fire, preventing loss, injury, or death. It is essential, and required, that vegetation capable of spreading fire is modified (removed or reduced) in a way that it creates a barrier against advancing fire.

Erosion Control

We have the experience to manage erosion control through Storm Water Polution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) on any site throughout Southern California. Our goal is to minimize run-off and sediment, protect the integrity of the soil, mitigate risk of fines, educate our clients, and deliver fast and reliable service.

Erosion problems associated with construction activities can scale from water pollution, flooding, stream channel damage, decreased groundwater storage, slope failures, damage to downstream lands and properties, and of course, the time and costs associated with addressing these issues. Successful minimization of these impacts can be achieved by implementing erosion control measures on construction sites. These Best Management Practices (BMPs) prevent soil movement and soil loss, enhance project aesthetics, reduce complaints and fine, and eliminate appreciable damage to off-site receiving channels, properties, natural resources and surface water bodies.
